This weekly planner was designed as an invitation to explore the world through food. The concept encourages users to take on a small monthly challenge: cook at least three recipes from a different country each month and experience new cultures through their cuisine.
Each month focuses on a specific country. The recipes are accessed through QR codes placed on the monthly pages, allowing the planner to stay visually clean while connecting to a wide variety of recipes online.
The visual identity of every month is inspired by the featured country. Illustrations are created from fragments of the country’s map, forming abstract compositions that reference geography and cultural identity. The color palette reflects the colors of the country’s flag, reinforcing the connection between design and place.
At the end of every month, the planner includes a customizable habit tracker where users can track personal habits alongside their cooking challenge. Reflection questions encourage users to look back on the recipes they tried, their experience with the cuisine, and what they discovered during the month.
